Companies are challenged to do what they do best! When it comes to finding labeling solutions, why not go to someone that has experience in facility labeling? We have a variety of engineered solutions, that promote facility safety and efficiency. Benefits
Should you decide to use in-house resources to label the capacity of your storage
racks, it can be done incorrectly and lead to overload conditions, if not done properly.
The capacity of a beam is not usually the what governs, when accessing the maximum
allowable load condition for a storage rack.
The upright frame often has less capacity
than the capacity of the beams that it supports. In facilities with multiple beam
configurations, it is not possible to install a single plaque that dictates the maximum
load parameter. For this reason we recommend bay labeling, where the beams within
the bay are assigned maximum load capacities, and the label is applied on the bottom
beam where it can be easily read. The great advantage provided by these labels,
is that a visual inspection of the rack allows a health & safety representative the
opportunity to verify the bay is a "safe & approved" configuration. If the bay doesn't
match the label, chances are someone made an unauthorized beam adjustment.
Location labels with bar coding are increasingly found in warehouses.
If you are
contemplating labeling your pallet positions (beams), it should be done with bar
coded, durable, easily removable polypropylene labels. The labels can be scanned
at up to 15 feet and the adhesive is effective in all environments including freezers.
Even if you are not using bar code scanners today, making provisions for the future
is likely a good investment.

For high rack, bar coded location labels are placed on the posts. Each level is colour coded. The locations are easily scanned from the ground level. The label boards are sized according to the width of the rack post.
Bulk Storage hanging placards with retro-reflective bar code labels allow you to
scan the
location of the items that are bulk stored. The placards can be scanned
from over 40 feet away.
Aisle signs that are formed in an "L" shape, can be easily attached to racks or shelves. Forbetter visibility from the aisle and the entire dock, three sided suspended aisle signs can make it easier for your operators to locate the aisles.
